Some of my views on dating etiquette: I am a romantic, caring guy and enjoy being courteous and chivalrous. As for paying... women have fought long and hard for equality and independence I think this should be reflected in a willingness to share the cost even if I insist on paying after all *lol*

Some of my expectations on a first date: Good conversation and lots of laughing! I think that's a lot for a first date and anyone who expects more (you know what I mean) is not the girl for me.

My favourite kind of television shows: Movie Channels, Sports, Sci-Fi, News, Dramas, Documentary/Learning, Cheers & Frasier!

My television viewing habits: I have a couple of favourite shows that I watch each week.

My all time favourite TV show: Pride & Prejudice with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle because it is entertainment perfection! Perfectly cast, acted, directed, scored and located and makes me laugh so hard, wince, get excited and cry every time I see it. My favourite line is when Elizabeth asks Mr. Darcy when he knew he had fallen in love with her and he replies, "And as for love, when did I first fall for you? I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look, or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun!" Let's make sure we remember our beginning... *smile*

My favourite kind of movies: Sci-Fi, Drama, Comedy, Action, Romance/Love Stories, Mystery, Independent, Cult Classics

How often do I go to the movies?: I think I went once last month.

My all-time favourite movie: My favourite movie is 'Gladiator' because it makes me want to be Maximus! I would love for women to swoon and men to be prepared to die in battle with me. I am fascinated with the Roman Empire and this movie show so well it's achievements in so many areas contrasted against such inhuman brutality. I also think Ridley Scott's images are breathtaking and Hans Zimmer has created possibly the most perfect score in cinema history.

My favourite kind of music: Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, Country and Western, Women Who Rock, Alternative

I like music because: It gives me time to sing.

My favourite singer/band: I love ALL music with melody and a good lyric.

My first album/CD was: Ha! I still enjoy the music but wouldn't normally admit to anyone that it was Meatloaf's, 'Bat Out Of Hell' until I knew them quite well! *lol*

My favourite types of books: Sci-Fi, Fiction, Non Fiction, Romance, Best Sellers, Biographies/Autobiographies

When do you I read?: When I’m in the mood

My favourite author or book: The Lord Of The Rings by JRR Tolkien because it is the richest story I have ever read. If find the depth and detail Tolkien goes into when describing characters, environment and language is astounding and I don't think I will ever tire of re-reading it.
